Council

Good.

I was appalled to call the council for some simple answers on re covering a patio roof to find out that they were all on morning break at the same time.. And someone would get back to me when they could. Bloody hell this is the council of all places, some one should be there manning the phones in each department while this building has open hours. You would also think that the review area would have comments about the performance of your dealings with the council not how nice the town looks in photo's..

They are very helpful, great staff, always thinking about others, and the town is so beautiful. Well looked after. Thank you kdc.

Pretty useless noise complaint services. Complained about a nearby business blasting loud music and heavy bass till 2:30am for hours to no results. Don’t even waste your time.

It is all new, so very clean and kids place is very good.It has a 3D printer and audio studio.It was awesome.

This traffic is a result of poor planning, terrible light timing, and ignorance. Its only getting worse. Do something

Mr. Cook, the GWRC engineering technical officer is very friendly and helpful! I had an aerial photography enquiry and he responded very fast and efficiently. I can't find an online form to leave feedback so am doing it here - he is a real asset to the GWRC! :-)

We wish we had met George years ago! George and his boys did an incredible job on a full renovation project and building the extension of our house.The renovation was extensive, basically a full gut of all rooms, including new piles, walls, additional bathroom, new load bearing walls, ceilings, skylights, replacement aluminium joinery throughout.The extension was to build a new additional 4 rooms, including master ensuite bedroom.From structural integrity to finishing touches, George excels and is second to none.George also has access to a large network of other tradies, from electrical, plumbing, flooring, plaster and painting, and roofing. All of whom are tried and tested, plus available on call.Overall the project finished weeks ahead of schedule, and landed well within budget. We are extremely pleased with the result, and won’t go to another builder again.

Main head quarters are located in Richmond in the eastern edge of the district.District includes the towns of Mapua Motueka Takeka Richmond Brighwater Wakefield and rural areas in between.The council is contactable by email , phone or by person to person.A news letter comes monthly.Elections coming up in October for 3 years.
